Armed with a digital video camera, 18 year old Amber from Toronto has a life changing experience in Africa. Camping in the bush of Southern Kenya with the hippos, and chimps and hyenas, she earns a senior high school credit in World Issues (Geography) with 19 other road scholars. In tents, with no hot water or electricity they do their homework by the light of a lantern, or if there has been enough sunshine during the day, the few precious hours provided by the solar panels. 16 year old Leah from Montreal vows to pick up a Parisian accent as she heads to Paris and the south of France to study advanced French. Living for 3 weeks right in heart of downtown Paris she gets her first taste of independence exploring the sights, cafes, and shops of one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Of course he's also there to video his experience getting honours marks in a senior high school credit course on Science in Society.
