For season one of Road Scholars all episodes featured the programs organized by Blyth Global Education in Ontario, Canada.

Blyth International Education is the leading organization in Canada offering educational travel. The locations of the programs are selected for their relevance to the subjects being taught.

Summer 2001 programs included senior level courses in:
Drama and English in London/Oxford
French in Paris and the South of France
Classical Civilization, Philosophy and Italian in Rome/Siena
Science in Society in Costa Rica
Classical Civilization in Greece/Turkey
Biology in the Amazon and the Galapagos Islands
World Issues in Africa
Summer 2002 programs will be expanded to include:
Ireland
Spain
Stratford, Ontario
As well, first year university credit courses will be offered in Social and Environmental studies and the Africa, Amazon/Galapagos, and Costa Rica programs will be incorporating a Volunteer community project as part of the learning experience.
